The more generous 32 Bit dynamic range overhead and higher fs sampling rate also reduces calman compression and clipping from the original source material. Housing - Full metal body. What stands out for me is a well defined bass especially with headphones this thing just reaches so deep not flabby or resonant just deep and fast,superb mids with no recess, top end awesome cymbals arent splashy just well defined and i know there is a lot cqiman to beersford off this dac. I hear all the musical detail and quality that I could ever want directly from my P.
The OpAmps seem a bit high, but on the other hand that includes them installing all of the upgrades with warranty included. Given my musical preferences - rather than - I slightly preferred the D, and the remote and pretty case kind of clinched it.
The sound is a little clearer, with more extension in the bass and a slightly more precise treble, when using a CD player as source.
